Haider Ali International Scholarship for Education 2026-2027 19 March 2026 Awards – Scholarships Dear colleagues, Peace be upon you, I am pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is now accepting applications for the “Haider Ali International Scholarship Program 2026-2027”. Please submit only one application per college. This application must include the following documents: 1- copy of the graduation certificate issued by your academic supervisor; 2- completed application form (the first step in the application process); Copies of your academic transcripts and certificates from the Ministry of Higher Education. Your overall GPA for previous studies (Bachelor’s, Master’s) must be at least 70/100 or 7/10, or its equivalent according to the grading system; 3- copy of your medical certificate (including HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B/C tests). 4- copy of a valid passport proving the applicant’s identity; 5- curriculum vitae (CV); Proof of language proficiency: For studies in English: The minimum required score is 5 on the IELTS test (40 on the TOEFL test) for undergraduate studies, and 5.5 on the IELTS test (50 on the TOEFL test) for graduate studies; For studies in Russian: Proof of language proficiency or prior studies in Russian; For studies in Turkish: Proof of language proficiency or prior studies in Turkish; For studies in Azerbaijani: Proficiency in English, Russian, or Turkish, or prior studies in one of these languages; The host institution may assess the applicant’s language proficiency according to the chosen program; A letter of recommendation; National or international academic awards (if applicable).
