International Conference on Technology and Water, Energy, and Environment for a Promising 2026
About the Conference
Transboundary watercourses are essential to human survival and sustainable development. They provide drinking water, support agriculture and energy production, preserve biodiversity, and stimulate economic growth. However, their management raises complex challenges related to equitable distribution, shared governance, demographic pressures, climate variability, and industrial and agricultural pollution.
Environmental pollution further compromises water quality, ecosystem health, and food security, exacerbating tensions between riparian states. These increasing pressures highlight the urgency of strengthened regional and international cooperation to ensure integrated and sustainable management of shared water resources.
This conference aims to foster collaborative and scientific dialogue between governments, researchers, and practitioners to promote sustainable governance of transboundary waters and combat pollution.
